INK, tattoos, art, name it however you want it, I adore it! Personally I see it as an expression from my soul, I also love how it can make a person more pretty.
But before you decide to get some ink, please always think!
Unlikely like stickers, tattoos are for life, here are some easy tips to make it more easy:
- check the work of the tattoo-artist, ask for his portfolio, check his website, check the internet,..
- good work ain't cheap, cheap work ain't good ...
- eartattoos, facetattoos, palmtattoos may look good, but check your job before doing this
- friendshiptattoos may be a great idea, but friendships don't often last forever
- same with relationships, be creative, don't get just a name, get a symbol...
- wait... 16 isn't a great age to get your first tattoo, just wait a few years, you still got 40some years to finish your body and turn it into a masterpiece of art
- don't believe the hypes... you really want an arrow like all the other girls... A tattoo is something you get for yourself, not for anybody else!
- respect the artist, showing up with your whole family is a no-go!
- always check the spelling if you're going for lettering!!!
Cover-ups and lasers are always an option if you made a mistake. If you can't change it , enjoy it, you wanted it at some point so why would you look back and regret it!

Kalamazoo by Lush

Kalamazoo is made for the beardlovers, as my boyfriend has a beard, I've originally bought it for him.
But the Lushassistant told me I could use it aswel.
Normally the Kalamazoo is a beardcleanser, but you can use it as a facewash!
I was a bit hesitating, normally menproducts don't smell that great, aren't they to aggressive!
But this one smells like pineapples, jojoba-oil and almond are added to keep my face soft!
I love it!
Just so you know, you can't use it as a make-up remover!
Especially for winter, this is a go-go! You'll notice it hydrates your face.
You don't need to use a lot of the product, it makes my face smell nice, my face is softer!
For the bearded people, your beard will smell nice and feel more soft!
Overal it's good value for money!
I will buy it again!

tips for winter: skin edition
In winter your skin can get more dry, your face and body may need other products and more attention.
Here are some tips:
- ban superhot baths, your skin will only suffer more!
- apply a moisturizer on your hands! Your hands will suffer in winter so use a cream or a lotion to keep your hands moist! You can always use the "overnight treatment". Apply a thick layer of handcream and put on cotton gloves! Sexy, I know, but your hands will love you !
- dry elbows? Give them a scrub and finish off with lotion!
- apply a thick face cream with high SPF to avoid windburns!
- use a hydrating mask once a week at least to avoid a dry face!
- avoid strong products that contain alcohol on your face!
- if your nails are suffering, apply olive oil! If you don't like the smell, apply nailpolish to protect your nails!
- time to use lipbalms again! Keep one in every handbag! Another tip, use your toothbrush to gently scrub your lips.
- scrub your feet once a week! Give them a thick layer of lotion after!
- eat more omega 3 fatty acids! Use olive oil to cook, add some advocado on the menu, eat nuts and add flax in your yoghurt!
- vitamine C is a great skin protector! Look for citrus fruits and dark green veggies!
- drink plenty of water to keep your inside hydrated!

Lately I'm eating a lot of Arugula (salad rocket)...every pasta I eat, I add some lettuce, between my bread I add lettuce. I make a lot of starters with Arugula and even in between meals I dare to eat some salad rocket!

Why I don't like Primark ...
For most women on the planet Primark is the ultimate shopping-expierence!
Cheap clothes (and when I say cheap I mean like for a penny) , tons and tons of products (tights, tshirts, lipstick, onesies,..) all together in one store, latest trends, one in every big city and even a webshop.
Well, all those reasons are for me the main reason why I hate primark.
Hate is a strong word, I don't hate it, I just don't like it. Personnaly I don't get it and this is why...
Quality over quantity is always a value I've learned from a young age, so why would I buy 5 shirts in different colors. In theory you're always wearing the same shirt, it just has a different color.
Quality, it means wearing it more than one time, being able to wash it without shrinking, a great fitting, no loose ends, no crooked seams....
I think I've made myself clear on this one.
Cheap...most people would be glad, yeah I bought a dress for 5€... well good for you! Ever had a second to think about how the dress is made?
People, the dress costs 5€....it will not be made in the best circumstances! Oh I know, some other famous brands had that problem a while ago. Yes they did, and yes they tried to make changes.
Honestly, I thought H&M had low prices, how can Primark go even lower?
Really it's something to think about, the hands that made that dress will not receive 5€ that day, made a 100 dresses in sweatshops, forced to work 15 hours a day at least!
And working in Primark must be like hell, women everywhere, trying to get the last of an item, just placing it somewhere else in the store, leaving in the fitting rooms, leaving it on the floor!
If they aren't friendly, that's just freaking normal!
Queus, queus and more queus... really...waiting in line for 15 minutes to try out a tshirt, waiting in line for 30 minutes to pay. Sounds like true fun!
And offcourse all this queuing leads to people fitting in the stores! Heavenly!
Wearing the latest trends doesn't make you a fashion queen, it makes you a fashion victim!
Find your own style, nothing is worse than a 1000 people wearing all the same.
Here was another reason why I don't like chainshopping! Stand out! Don't blend it!
Don't mistake me for a snob, I don't wear Vuitton or Louboutins! I just love buying clothes in small shops! Supporting local stores! Honestly, I save my money till it's sales-time or I just save money for that special piece. I have dresses that I've already own for 4 years, they still look abfab! :-)
Have a nice time shopping in Primark, they won't see me ever again!
