Karl Lagerfeld opens up in Vogue!

Hereby the great article from Mister Karl from www.vogue.co.uk

KARL LAGERFELD's mother was not a woman to mince her words - and she had little interest in her son's work atChanel.
"My mother used to say to me: 'You look like me, but not as good,'" he said. "She never saw a show of my work because, she said, 'I do not want to go see people my son works for.' And at the end of her life, when she was 70, she decided that she would not wear skirts any more. 'Long skirts make me old and the short skirts,' this was the Sixties, 'they're for the young girls.' So she couldn't care less about what I was making. She loved Sonia Rykiel."
Talking to Jessica Chastain at a fundraising event in New York, the Chanel designer also opened up on his views about red-carpet dressing ("A little too much sometimes - especially when you see all those mermaids and fishtail gowns going in to see movies about poor girls in Eastern Europe"), magazine retouching ("Everyone looks like they stepped out of a funeral parlour"), being lauded as the fashion equivalent of Oscar Wilde ("I hope I end up better"), as well as his childhood.
"I hated when people came up to me and said 'How was school?' and things like that. I hated to be treated as a child," he recalled. "I thought it was the worst situation. I never spoke to people like that. I turned my back to them and never spoke to them again. I wanted to be grown-up."
He also relayed his first encounter with his beloved pampered pet, Choupette, who was originally loaned to him by model and friend Baptiste Giabiconi while he was on holiday. Lagerfeld promptly fell in love with the cat and refused to give her back.
"Baptiste got another one," said Lagerfeld. "But she is not as good as Choupette. It is always difficult to analyse influence, but perhaps she helped me become a nicer person - there's something very touching about her. And she is spoiled beyond."

One of my favorite home- workouts!

30 day challange!

Back to work

Going back to work is probably one of the most doubble things I've done lately..
Honestly I'm not made to sit all day long at a desk...my energy level is too high, I have a problem eating  in large groups (yes we still do have that problem), working out at the evenings (so hard), staying off my phone...that one is so fucking hard. I'm not used to have "rules", my previous jobs didn't have that amount of rules. I'm used to eating whenever I want, most of the time I could eat alone, I'm used of using my phone all day, tweeting, facebook, checking my mails...
I'm going to adapt so hard, a plus is the amount of money I make and that I can keep my piercing.
Yesterday evening first thing I did when coming home was work out..I've already went running this morning, tomorrow I have to go back to work. In time I will adapt better, but for now, I'll be so happy when it's weekend!

tip of the master

WHEN hairstylist Ken Pavés was announced as a Color Wowambassador this summer, it was only a matter of time before he introduced the colour-enhancing styling products to his celebrity clients - the likes of which include Victoria Beckham, Jennifer Lopez and Eva Longoria.
"I've tried them on everyone! They treat the hair as they work and never leave it looking too done. The most important thing in this industry is to think of the woman sitting before you - most hairstylists want to put their stamp on a person, especially a celebrity like Victoria, but it's really about considering that woman," he told us. "I think it's really cheap to look at someone's hair and say: 'This is wrong, change this'. It's bad to beauty bully people. The Color Wow products are all about liberation and individuality rather than changing a person."
Pavés first met Beckham whilst at Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes's wedding in Rome, where he was accompanying Jennifer Lopez, and a personal and professional relationship was born.
"I'd always been such a huge fan of Victoria, but when I met her she was this incredibly demure, soft, sweet, beautiful woman - so engaging and so kind. It was instant from there. When she and her family moved to the US her office called for me to come and style her hair, so we've been working together ever since," he said. "I have always taught my clients how to style their own hair, how to air dry it and work with their natural texture - which is what these products are so good at. Victoria can tong her own hair amazingly and she often does - people will call my office saying: 'What did you do with her hair last night?' I say: 'Where was she? I'm not there!' - and the reason is that she's done it herself."
Fortunately Pavés isn't the only one with a love for low-maintenance beauty. The trend for wash-and-go hairstyles could be seen at spring/summer shows including Christopher Kane and Balmain as well as the Pavés-styled Victoria, Victoria Beckham presentation.
"I think that what's so modern right now is undone hair. There's a great sophistication that's happening in fashion right now that hasn't been there in a while, so if the hair is too done it looks old-fashioned," said Pavés of the covetable, tucked-behind-the-ears styles he created for the presentation. "The base of any amazing hairstyle is healthy hair, so we washed all of the girls' hair with Color Wow Color Security shampoo and conditioner, added the One Minute Transformation product - my personal favourite - and let it air dry before adding Pop & Lock to add texture. You want it to move but to be ethereal and lightweight."
